SPOILERS: Jenna-Louise Coleman joins Matt Smith for filming Series 7
Apparently he wears waistcoats now. Waistcoats are cool.
While not really providing huge story spoilers. Filming has begun on Doctor Who Series 7 and the first appearance of Jenna-Louise Coleman (her character is currently being rumoured to be named Clara) joining the Doctor on an adventure. The episode being filmed is not this years Xmas special (that episode which introduces her character is still currently being written by Steven Moffat). Instead the current episode being filmed is from the batch of episodes that will air in 2013. This is somewhat similar to 5×04: The Time of Angels and 5×05: Flesh and Stone being filmed before Matt Smith’s first appearance in 5×01: The Eleventh Hour. This method is usually used to allow the actor/actress to get comfortable in the role before being completely established.
