Before Doctor Who was brought back to our TV screens in 2005. There was a animated version of the series that was released online in 6 parts. Called Scream of the Shalka it was written by future Doctor Who writer Paul Cornell and produced by Cosgrove Hall (the same people who would create a animated version of the Second Doctor classic “The Invasion” and The Tenth Doctor animated adventure “The Infinite Quest”.
